Mark’s #5 – Memory Man by David Baldacci (432 pages)

Amos Decker’s life first changed on a Sunday afternoon on the Grid Iron as a rookie in the NFL.  There he experienced a hit that caused such brain trauma that he almost died, and his mind was forever altered. He no longer could forget anything… not a single detail.

His life changed again two decades later when his brother-in-law, wife, and daughter were savagely murdered.  After contemplating suicide and battling through depression,  other crimes linked to his family’s murders began to happen, and Amos Decker took on the task of solving the murders.

If you’re a fan of crime shows like NCIS, Criminal Minds, or the like, you may enjoy this book.  I listened to the story while renovating my kitchen and bathroom.  This isn’t fiction that will change your life, but it may be suitable for reading around the pool this summer.
